Dear Cats,

4:45 AM is a time most humans like to sleep. I know you sleep all day -- I, on the other hand, work to pay your rent and buy your cat food.

Today, in particular, I'll work until 9:30 at night. This is why I get irritated when you fight on, under and around my bed.

I've been very good about not waking you up during the 22 hours a day you sleep. Could you please let me sleep for 6 or 8 hours?

thanks,
your sugar-mama

Wake 'em up! Wake 'em up!

I do that when the kitties keep me awake. Also, I use the laser pointer to play with them for about an hour before bed.

Run 'em around and tucker the little sh*ts out!

:)

Who do you have that can translate your note into Catinese? A cat will never own up to understanding such a plebeian language as English - and then you still have no guarantee they'll take note of your complaint...

My cats are bilingual -- although they don't admit it outright -- they've been known to order cat treats from the internet and insert paragraphs demanding cats be considered superior beings into my dissertation files...

Sleep is a luxury... right?

Yea, I guess as a cat-person, you'd know the ropes... One can always wish for undisturbed sleep, but getting it is a totally different matter!
Now - they don't pay for their treats, do they?

Sure they "pay" for them -- they are blissfully unaware that AMEX requires me to actually pay the bill -- so, they just use it... it's magic.
