I am very thankful that generally my students behave more or less like independent adults.
I am thankful that the great majority of them don't act like the nasty minority.
I am also thankful that I can tell the difference between the good ones and the nasty ones.
In the coming semester, I want to appreciate the good and great ones while not letting the nasty ones get to me. It is a challenge, but one worth pursuing.
