Chemo update...

So far, so good... I had some minor symptoms of an allergic reaction, but they went away while I was at the clinic.

Mom and I went to Olive Garden for lunch afterward -- and now I'm feeling a little sleepy, but otherwise well.

If this is how the rest of chemo will go -- I'll survive quite well, thanks!

You just take the best care of you that you can IPF! It's been so awesome reading about your experiences with this (as horrible as it is that you have to go through this) - just know there are lots of us out here who are sending you all the good vibes we've got.

I'm just realizing that one of the reasons I'm blogging this -- besides updating my face-to-face and virtual friends -- is to let people know that chemo's public image is much worse than the real experience...

I'll probably do a full post on this, if only to be available to people doing searches...

Hey IPF, that reason, that's a really good reason. I think a lot of us fear chemo, because sometimes it is really nasty, especially 20 years ago. But it sounds like they've come a long way in making things both more effective and more tolerable, and that's great news.

Thanks, and glad the new regime seems do-able!
