Oh wise and powerful internets, I have a question...
Do any of you know what they carve out of buter at the Wisconsin state fair?
Wisconsin, being the dairy state and all, must carve something spectacular out of butter.
Their website is not immediately informative... and my mom wants to know.

I heard something about this on NPR recently, but when I searched their website and the two local NPR websites I couldn't find anything. There is a woman who is a butter sculptor, and she's getting old and someone is apprenticing to her to become the next butter sculptor... I think it's different every year.
