Update -- it was a singing telegram -- the Grim Reaper... he was surprised and generally happy about it... some of his students were taking pictures, so if I get some, I'll post them.
He's 40.
He should be getting his surprise soon...
After it is no longer a surprise, I'll let you know what it was...
and, if the response is bloggable, I'll post it too...
He'll be home tomorrow, either I'll get a reward or I'll have to spend his "spring" break apologizing to him...
