If they weren't sleeping...

...as they say they weren't, and they weren't fighting...

What else could they have been doing?

Personally, I think they were shagging... but, that's just me.

I am so glad you said this! When they claimed a "heated debate over airline policy," my first thought was, "is that the new euphemism for sex?"

But no one else seemed to go there, so I was beginning to think it was just me.

I still think they were sleeping, but I'd go for sex as my second guess. :)

...must have been some good shagging... er, I mean debate...

I really really want to know what it was! It seems like it was too big a crew to ALL have been sleeping or, uh, shagging. Plus---90 minutes? Plus the time before they were overdue at the airport?

I'm not sure, but I think there were only two pilots in the cockpit... So, they'd have privacy.

I also think the problem was that they were out of radio contact before they were past the airport -- so I think it was an hour total -- from someplace east of Denver to Eau Claire WI -- which is about 90 minutes by car from MSP.... but, someplace over Iowa they needed to start their descent...and they didn't do that.

I suppose the other thing they could have been doing was high-altitude stalking of someone in Eau Claire...
