If only I'd found this sooner....

A handset for my cell phone...

It's on the way to me ---

The one thing I don't like about talking on my cell is actually holding the little thing to my ear. It's ok for short conversations, but for a good long talk - not so comfortable.

So--- I thought, 'hey -- the internets has everything... right?' -- and, presto --

Hubby thinks I'm a bit of a freak, but it's turning my cell phone into a regular phone without the inconvenience of having to stay home.

Ooh, do please report on your experience with it! I'd love to cancel our "regular" phone service and have only cell phone -- or at least, I'd love to pay only one phone bill rather than two -- but, like you, I find it uncomfortable to talk for long on the cell phone. Perhaps this retro phone handset is the answer!

It's funny how we get used to things.. I always sit at my desk to make phone calls -- and I still do it with my cell.

I think the handset is going to work fine. We already have a headset thing (like they use at fast food drive-thus..) and it works because it plugs into the phone -- but, I have a big head, so it isn't comfortable.

I really like not having two lines, folks can know how to reach me directly and I don't have to check more than one voice mail -- and, I can ignore the phone more easily than when it rings all over the house.
