Dissertation update... perhaps one of the last!!!

One huge advantage to having surgery is that, while I'm not teaching, I could finish revisions on my dissertation.

Working a couple of hours at a time -- I have all the small content revisions done.

Today I'm planning to do all the formatting stuff required by Red State school.

Tomorrow -- copies, and I'll send them to my committee.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should weigh a final copy before it's bound. Mine weighed 2.2 pounds. It's just a fun thing.

I also had my defense copies blessed w/ Holy Water (and I'm not Catholic *or* religious ... I just wanted all the help I could get).

Keep going! YAY!!!!!

Well, there's another surgery in my immediate future (taking the ovaries and fallopian tubes.. grrr), then finals and planning for summer --

So, new stuff will probably happen over the summer... assuming I get to defend.
